Murphy was fined 10/-, in default 2i hours’ imprisonment, while Williamson, who was described by the police as a healthy young fellow, naturally tired, waa mulcted in the sum of 20/-, in default 4S hours in gaol.

The mushroom season hns commenced. On Saturday a party of picnickers gathered sufficient for a meal from the pastures in the Pohangina valley. Two boys are reported having gathered a bucketful from the FUzhorbert district.
