“JOKE” NOT “GOAT”
LANGUAGE IN PARLIAMENT. In the Victorian Legislative Assembly recently Mr Tunnecliffe, a Labour member, made a personal explanation of a remark attributed to him by the newspapers. Mr Tunnecliffe said he was reported as haying called the Premier, Mr Allen, "a goat.” “I may, in the heat of the moment have said the Premier was a joke,” Mr Tunnecliffe added. “If I did say tl I am very sorry.”
