LABOUR COMMONERS
MODERATES’ EMPHATIC VICTORY.

The Parliamentary Labour Party’s election of its executive represents an emphatic victory of moderate policies. The former executive consisted of seven members of the Right wing and five of the Left wing. The new executive consists of ten of the Right wing and two of the Left wing. Those elected arc Messrs Snowden, Graham, Thomas, Lees-Smith, Smillie( Trevelyan, Shaw, Welsh, Webb, Lansbury Adamson and Dalton. The newcomers are Messrs Shaw Welsh, Webb, Adamson and Dalton, replac. ing Messrs W r heatley, Roberts, Maxton, Scoot- and Wedgwood.
