Stevens reports yesterday's prices as follows: — Poultry:—Hens 4/- to 6/- a pair; roosters 4/- to 12/6 pair; ducks, young 8/9 to 9/3 pair; ducks, old 5/- to 6/ pair: ducklings 3/6 pair; chicks witi mothers 1/- to 1/2 each. Pigs in poor demand: —Weaners 6/to 13/6, slips 16/- to ii/1/-, stores £l/7/6 to ix/14/- each; new potatoes 21/- cwt., apples 3/3 to 5/G a hall case. Fresh eggs 1/9 a doz. nett.
