SMAlili YARDS AND DOOR comdrthion. A small yarding' of both fat and store sheep was offered at Fcilding yesterday and met with very poor competition. In most cases vendors were prepared to meet the market and the bulk of the yarding was sold at prices well below last weeks, fat sheep being 2/- per head lower. Fat b.f. 2-ths. 24/-, 26/1; fat wethers 25/-, 2S/4; fat ewes 20/7, 21/2. 21/7, 21/S, 21/10, 22/-; f. and f. woolly ewes 24/-; shorn ewes with 100 per cent of white face lambs were passed in at 13/3 all counted; 4-th. maiden ewes 25/-; good 2-th. ewes 27/-; medium ditto 24/2; small 23/9; very fair 2-tooth wethers 22/-. 22/1; very fair 4-th. wethers 23/1, forward 4-th. wethers, 24/10, 25/7. A small entry of fat cattle, mostly cows met with a dragging sale, good quality fat cows selling £2 a head lower than last week. Good Hereford rows sold at £6/7/6, £6/14/£7; and a line of very prime ditto was passed in at £7/5/-; fat jersey cross cows £3/i6/-, £4/16/-, £5/1/-; prime fat bullocks £ll/5/-, £l2/10/-. A fair siao entry of store tattle, included some very good forward bullocks.- A good proportion were passued in under the hammer, bidding veins very slack. Fairly good 2-yr. M-re ford steers sold at £6. Fat and forward p.a. bullocks £lO/1/-, forward ditto heavy cattle £lO/10/-. Good condition Hereford s.h. cross bullocks passed at £B/7/6, £7/15/-, forward p.a. bullocks passed in at £9/16/-.
