MAGISTERIAL RECOUNT BEGUN. CWr Press Association/ 5 CHRISTCHURCH December 2. The magisterial recount in connection -with the Lyttelton seat began this morning anil will probably be completed to-morrow afternoon. The recount is being made by Mr M. Foley, under the supervision of Mr H. iA. Young, S.M., Mr P. J. O’Regan (Wellington) is scrutineer for Mr McCombs and Mr W. G. Black (Christchurch) for Mr Lyons. PETITION LODGED. HOKITIKA, Last Night. An election petition was lodged this afternoon against the result of the Westland election.
