SYMPATHY OF COMMONS

In the House of Commons, the ViceChamberlain presented the King’s acknowledgment of its motion of sympathy which His Majesty accepted “aa further proof of your interest In all that concerns my domestic happiness.” In continuing His Majesty said: “It is a real support and comfort to me in thhs heavy bereavement to realise In how much affection the people held my dear mother.”
