CRICKET
THE WEEK’S FIXTURES. To-morrow the big cricket match will be the trial game for the Manawatu Hawke Cup team between Manawatu and Horowhenua. The game is scheduled to commence at 11 o’clock and will replace the usual mid-week cricket competition. On Thursday and Friday the Napier Boys’ High School first eleven will meet the Palmerston North Boys’ High School’s elect at the Sportsground. This match is an annual fixture between the two schools and in past years very classy cricket has been shown by the respective teams. The game will commence at 2.30 on Thursday and at nine on Friday morning. The fixtures for Saturday will be Railway and High School and Old Boys v. R.S.A.
