SEATS COME HOME TO BOOST. A certain young man In Christchurch la blessing the goddess of luck and is swearing devoutly at present never to go abroad without his lucky ha'penny or crossing his Angers three times. More than a month ago the young man had a pair of mbtor-seats stolen from his car, which was parked at the side of his house. He advertised, but gained no response. In desperation he placed his order for a new pair of seats, and this is where my lady Luck steps in. On Wednesday a friend of his on Insurance business, passed a house and saw lying on the lawn a pair of seats, vary like those of his friend. Being thoughtful, he rang up the owner of the seats and told him where the seats were. The owner went down to the police station and told the detectives his tale. They went down to the house, made investigations and—the seats have come home to roost
