, Mr. T. A. Sunnex, who has been a clerk at the Dannevirke railway station for same time, left on Tuesday on transfer to Port Ahuriri. Ho will bo succeeded here by Mr. A. L. Smith of the Port Ahuriri staff;
Advice has been received from Mr. Alfred Seifert that he hoped to leave Calcutta about the end of October, arriving in New Zealand for Christmas. At the time of writing (October 14th) ho was in Simla. Father Christmas (the Kiddies special treat) arrives at Collinson and Cunninghame’s on Saturday, 2Sth November and takes up his residence in the Magic Cave. Don’t forget to let the little ones see him. He gives a present to every ono who goes into the cave to see him.
