OVERSEAS STEAMERS. MAHENO is due at Auckland today and will sail for Sydney on Saturday. \ ARAWA, which left Wellington on I the 13th.. October arrived at Southhampton on Monday morning. LEITRIM leave B Auckland on Saturday for Gisborne where she will fill up and sail for New York, Boston, and West Coast of Great Britain on December Bth.. DEVON did not leave Napier until 11, a.m. on Tuesday for Walkokopu to continue loading for London and ports on the West Coast of * Great Britain. WAIMANA, (The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Coy’s Liner) which sailed from Auckland, en route to London on 20th. October, arrived at Boston on Monday morning. MAUNGANUI, arrived from Sydney on Tuesday morning with 411 peasengers, 5000 cases of fruit, including ft large quantity or oranges. The vessel which left Sydney on Friday, experienced rough seas and rainy weather until Sunday morning. Pine weather then set in and rest of the voyage was marked with smooth seas. It ia due to sail from Wellington at S p.m. to-day on the return trip to Sydney. Fixed to sail from Auckland to-day for Wanganui, the Federal Coy’s Steamer, Otaki, 1b due at Wellington next Wednesday and will sail at daybreak on December sth. for Southhampton and London via the Panama Canal. CANADIAN CHALLENGER which left Dunedin at noon on Tuesday has arrived in Wellington to continue loading for New York, Boston and Halifax, The O and D Line received news that its motor ship Port Dunedin, which left Wellington on October 16th., arrived at London on Sunday. The A and A Line chartered steamer, City of Shanghai,sailed from New York on Nevember 17th. and from Newport News on November 18th. with general cargo. The vessel Is duo at Auckland on-Deoember 22nd. and at Wellington a week later, and will also discharge cargo at Ijjrttleton Now Plymouth and Wanganui. PORT NICHOLSON, which arrived at Wellington on Tuesday to fill up, will now sail from there to-day for Havre, Antwerp and London via Panama. MAHANA arrived from London via Suva at Auckland on Tuesday ,and will leave on Monday for Port Chambers.
