Dear Sir, —The Board of Management of the “Willard Children’s Home” greatly appreciates tho kindly interest and practical help that has always been given to the work and children of the Home by the people of Palmerston North and surrounding districts. At present the Home is quite full of needy boys and girls who are getting excellent care and training, fitting them to fill their place In life. We are appealing to our many Interested friends to help us make Christmas a time of pleasure and happiness for these bairns. The Board has secured a fine commodious house at Plimmorton for six weeks. The staff ana. children leave for their holiday home about December 18. Gifts of foodstuffs, cake, vegetables, fruit, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Orl Wednesday afternoon, December 9, at the Home, .Russell street, the annual tea and Christmas tree takes place. This is a rod letter day for the children; we appeal to your readers for their help. Toys, books, cakes, sweets Or gifts of money would be thankfully received. Gifts and parcels may be left with Mrs. C. E.
