General Chang-tso-hsiang has been sent from Shan-hai-kuan to suppress him, but Kuo-sung ling troops are reported to have defeated him. Kuo-sung Ling is no w stated to be advancing on Mukden at lh e head of four divisions. SERIOUS REVOLT OP MUKDEN TROOPS. TEMPORARY COLLAPSE OP NORTHERN CAUSE. (Received Thursday, 8. 5 p.m.) PEKIN, November 25. From a mass of rumours there seems no doubt that a serious revolt has broken out among the Mukden troops, who are fighting each othef at Laun-chow, Chin-wang-tao and elsewhere along the Pekin-Mukden railway, It is claimed in some quarters that Kuo-sung-llng has captured Jdukden and made Chang-tso-lin a prisoner, but other reports state that troops loyal to Chang-tso-lln have broken the railway at Ching-wan-tao in order to hinder Kuo-sung-ling’s advance on Mukden. The Chlh-Ii Tupan, Liching-lin. is preparing to declare the independence of Mukden and is also drafting a telegram urging Chang-tso-lin to retire. There is no doubt that the Mukden party has collapsed, at least temporarily, thus immensely strengthening Feng-yuh-siang. Cabinet changes arc considered imminent. It is expected all the Anfultes and Mukdenltes will be forced to resign and a Kuommchun Cabinet installed.
