MB WILLIAM PAGE. The death to,ok place at the Palmorsku North Hospital on Tuesday, of Mr William Pago, of Halcombo, at the age of sovcuty.oight years. Mr Page was one of the earliest set. tilers of the Manchester Block, having conic out on the ship Woodlark. Ho spread the lirst load of metal laid on the Fclldiug streets. Ho Was a brickmakei by trade, and for some time was In the employ of tlio father of Mr Richard Bowler, Mr Page later wont to tho Halcombo district, whore he took up farming and also carried om brickmaking. Ho resided thcro with his family for close on 40 years, then re. tlriujr lo Fclldiug. Mrs Pago sur. vives her husband and there arc four sous and three daughters. Tin* sons arc —Messrs William (Mastcvlou), George (Kaglun), Robert (Otorohanga), and Waller (Halcombo). Tho daughters—Mrs W. Barker (Karori), Mrs Shepherd (Otnhuhu), and Miss Page (Feilding).
