HITLER GOES TO FORTRESS, EASY SENTENCES. (By Electric Cable — Copyright-] [Aust. and N.Z. A-isorintinn.] MUNICH, April 1. Ludendorff has been acquitted. Hitler has been sentenced to five years' detention in a fortress. BERLIN, April 1.

Advices from Munich state that Poesner, Kriebel and Weber were also sentenced to five years’ detention in a fortress and the payment of a fine of 200 gold marks. The prisoners will be released conditionally after six months. The costs in the case of Ludendorff will be borne by the State. The other accused, Frisk, Roehm, Erueckner, Wagner and Fernet, were sentenced to 15 months’ detention in a fortress and the payment of fines and costs amounting to 100 gold marks, but they will bo released immediately on undertaking to be ot good behaviour until May 1, 1928.
