MARKET REPORT. Messrs Dajgety and Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report on the sales of the week as below. At the Bulls sale on Monday, 24th March, there was a very fair entry of sheep and cattle for which there was a very fair demand and with the exception of-one small pen of cattle, every line changed hands. Quotations. —Pat ewes 22/-, extra prime heavy fat lambs 32/6, 33/6, b.f. rape lambs 20/10, small b.f. lambs 15/6, m.a. ewes in lamb 18/2 to 20/4, empty cows 28/-, bulls £2, 2-yr. steers £4 6/-, fat cows £5 0/6, store pigs 21/- ( At the Ashhurst sale on Wednesday March 26, there was a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Quotations. Forward lambs 21/4, small lambs 7/6, cull ewes 6/-, fair lambs 11/-, fat lambs to 26/, small 2-th .ewes 20/2, m.a. ewes r.w. S.D. rams 18/- to 22/-, store ewes 10/- to 13/6, i;8-mos heifers r.w.b., £2, forward cows 32/34/-, 35/- to £2 18/-, light fat cows £8 4/-, £3 8/6 to £4 10/-, store cows 23/- to 29/-, potter bulls 30/-, 35/-, £2 to £2 7/6. At the Palmerston North sale on Thursday March 27, there was a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle and the bulk of the yarding changed hands. Quotations; —Forward ewes 15/1, 18/6 to 20/-, light fat wethers 27/, store ewes 7/3, f.m. ewes r.w. S.D. rams 18/-, aged S.D. rams 13, 2$ to 33gns., springing cows £5, 4-yr. bullocks £5 15/-, -IS-mos. S.H. Hereford steers £2 13/-, light far bullocks £7, fat cows £4 7/6, £4 15/-, to £5 5/-, forward cows 27/6.
