MEMORIAL COMMITTEE.
FINAL MEETING. The Feilding Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial committee met yesterday morning for the last time, the Mayor (Mr J. S. Tingey), presiding. The treasurer's report showed a deficit of fl 12/5, after paying for the monument. The members present promptly subscribed the sum between them, and the account was closed. The committee decided to send a letter of thanks to the contractor for the manner in which the work was carried out It was decided to deposit the minute book and all documents in the Council Chambers.,
