ABOUT SOUTH STREET.
NO ACTION YET. Some few weeks back, the attention of the Feilding Borough Council was drawn in these columns to the state 9f the southern end of South street, for, pedestrian traffic. The matter was brought before the Council and referred to the works committee for its “generous consideration.” So far, nothing has come of the agitation, and the state of the road does not improve.
It would pay Councillors to visit tlis ocality in order to see for themselves die state of the thoroughfare.
