P. AND T. MEN.

[Per Press Association.J BLENHEIM, March 31. The local branch, of the P. and T, Association unanimously passed a resolution; “That in view of statement of chairman of the Railway Wages Board that the decision of the Board will have a bearing on all other public servants’ salaries, this section considers that its interests are vitally affected; also, conditions in our Department are very different from those obtaining in the Railways. We strong, ly urge the executive to request the Government to give our Association representation on that Board and grant facilities to call evidence in justification of our claims. We ask ft to be pointed out that, very high feeling is permeating the service on tine inadequacy of our salaries and feel, for obvious reasons, that no acceptable solution could be arrived at unless these requests are granted.”
