FEILDING STOCK SALE.

HEAVY YABOING- OF CATTLE.

There was a particularly heavy yarding- of cattle at the Feilding sate yestorday, the total almost equalling the number penned at the fair laoi week. There was a large number ot fat cattle of varying- quality, and while some of the lines penned were gooa, better weights hav e been yarded. The bulk of the yarding was taken up with store classes, which did not meet with a ready demand and many pens were passed in under the hammer, but wer* sold later by private treaty. On the whole, prices were slightly easier, fat bullocks realising up to £l2 12/6, fat cows to £lO 10/- and heifers made up to £lO 10/- also. In the store lines, good, forward bullocks realised up to £lO, and other classes were neglected. The yarding of fat sheep was small. Fat woolly ewes realised up to 35/1, while a small pen of prime shorn ew*-s made up to 36/6. Fat wethers realised up to 34/7, ami hoggets brougo'i. 34/-. On the store side, a particularly fine line of ewes and b.t'. lamba brought £2. 10/-, and another lino made £2 5/-. Ewe hoggets made uj. to 30/-, and wether hoggets sold at 29/9. Of the dairy stock yarded, good springing heifers made up to £l3, and cows in milk brought up to £l3 5/-. There was a large and varied yarding ot bulls. Purebred Jerseys realising up to £ls 15/-, and the potting classes made from £1 to £4.

The following are some of the prices realised: Fat Bheop—Hoggetsv, 27/-, 34/- to 35/-: woolly ewes, 28/28/6 to 36/1; shorn ewes, 23/-, 24/-, 27/8, 29/3, 31/8, 32/3, 83/3 to 36/6; shorn wethers, 30/9 to 34/7.

Stove sheep; Ewes and lambs, SO/4, 45/- to 50/-; ewes, empty, medium, 20/-; wether hoggets, 29/1 to 29/9; mixed hoggets, 27/4; b.f. hoggets, 23/-; forward ewes, 22/7; < medium hoggets, 16/9, 18/2, 25/1; ew e hoggets, 30/-; shorn ewes, 17/- (poor) to 22/7. Fat cattlo. Bullocks, £S, £9 5/-, £lO, £lO 5/-, £lO 12/6 to £l2 12/6; cows, £3, £5, £6 7/6, £7 17/6, £B, £8 10/-, £lO 1/- to £lO y>/-; heifers, f 6, £B, £9 10/- to £lO 10/-; medium fat cows, £5 10/- to £7 10/-; unfinished sorts, £4 10/- to £5. Store cattle: E. and fwd. cows, £3 12/- to £3 18/-; f. and fwd. bullocks, £6 12/6, £6 15/- to £10; Holstein bullocks, £5 15/-; cows, 15/- to £2 5/-; two-year steers, £4 10/-; three-yeax steefrs, £4 10/-, £5 9/- to £5 10/-; yearling heifers, 30/- to £3 2/-.
