FIGHT FOR OIL FIELD.

CONCESSIONS IN ALBANIA. LONDON, October 1. The Vienna correspondent of the "Manchester Guardian" says: Today's sitting of the Albanian Government at Tirana will decide the .fate of the oil concessions. 'Phe AngloPersian Company asks for 100,000 acres at 75 gold centimes an acre and IZI per cent, of the net profit. The Standard Oil Company offers almost double that price. The American Sinclair groups bid half-way between the Anglo-Persian and the Standard Oil companies.

It is learned that a concession is is likely to be granted to the AngloPersian Company, despite the fact that its offer is the lowest. The Albanians prefer the English group, believing that Albania needs Great Britain's i>elp in any possible future Balkan crisis.

The voting on the concession in the last duty of the present Parliament, which will be dissolved to-day. The new elections will be held in November. ,
