LAND REVALUATION.

PERSONNEL OP BOARD.

[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Last Night. The personnel of the Dominion ReValuation Board, constituted under the Discharged Soldiers* Settlement Act passed by Parliament last session, has now been made complete by the appointment of Mr. John Gordon, a well known farmer of the Waikato, aa a member of the Board. The Board now consists of Messrs. J. B. Thompson, under secretary of Lands? (chairman), F. W. Flanagan, valuer-gene-ral, R. A. Roger, farmer, Tapanui, and Gordon. The Board will commence the discharge of its functions under the Act with as little delay as possible. Twenty-three district revaluation committees have been set up. Forms of application for relief were issued to all soldier settlers some time ago. The work of scheduling the applications and preparing the necessary data is being carried out expeditiously, and it is expected that the district committees commence operations almost immediately.
