FRENCH EXECUTIONER.
SENTENCED TO DEATH. WANTS TO INSTRUCT SUCCESSOR. [By Electric Cable—Copyright] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 1. The "Daily Chronicle's" Paris correspondent says the official executioner in French Guinea has been sentenced to death for the murder of a convict. The executioner demands that he shall be given time to instruct his successor in the working of the guillotine, as he does not want a novice to experiment on him.
