JUNIOB MEN'S BIBLE CLASS.

3PRESEENTATION TO MR H McINTYRR Recently Mr Hugh Mclntyre resigned the office of leader of the Junior Men's Bible Class of the Presbyterian Church, a position ho had filled for 18 years, and on Wednesday evening some of his aid boys and their friends •waited upon him at his residence for the purpose of recognising, in a tangible form, their appreciation of his valuable services to, the class. On behalf of those present Mr A. K Wilson presented to Mr a Morris chair, bearing a suitably inscribed silver plate, and in doing so referred to the excellent qualities of their old leader. Messrs Watsau, Pagan, Pryde, Goldfinch and Spence also spoko, endorsing the remarks of the previous speaker. In rejplying, Mr Mclntyre stated that his associations with the clas.s ■ had given him great pleasure, and went on to refer to. the success in life of many of the old boys who had belonged t'o the class under his leadership.
