UMUTOI RABBIT BOARD.
The monthly meeting of Hie Board was held in t'he Board-room, Umutoi. on Thursday, July 5, at 2 p.m. There were present, Messrs. Curtis (in the chair), Knight, Alexander, Jensen and Batchelar. An apology Cor absence was received from Mr. Mackley. Correspondence was read from the Department of Agriculture, and Messrs. A. and \V. .McCarthy. Accounts totalling US IS/11 were passed for I payment. The treasurer reported that the sanction of the Minister of Internal Affairs had been given to the Board's financial arrangement witli the Bank of New Zealand, Palmerston North. On t'he motion of the chairman, seconded by Mr. Knight, the I rate of 2£d. per aero for the year ending December 31, 1923, was confirmed.
