PEDIGREE STOCK.

IMPORTANT FEILDING ENTRIES. FOR AUCKLAND SALE. There is to be conducted in Auckland shortly an important sale of pedigree dairy stock, comprising only very specially selected animals from the farms of breeders of repute. The entries, it is understood, aro to 1 c limited to 30 females and 10 bulls for the whole of the Dominion, and that at least three, animals should have been selected from the Feilding district, further emphasises the reputation this • tof the country has for its pedigree stock. All entries are being selected under the personal supervision of an expert, and consequently nothing but the very best animals will be represented. The Feilding selection has been taken from tlie well-known "Wuodstock" farm Of Mrs A.' Banks and Son, at Kiwitca, their entry being one Jersey bull and two Jersey heifers. The following are the particulars oi the entries: — One rising 2-year-old bull by Admiral, out of Woodstock Baby. Woodstock'Baby is stated to be the only Jersey cow in New Zealand to hold hree gold medals under the semiofficial test, and still holds the class lead for three-year-olds. One heifer, by Admiral, out -of Woodstock Fanatic, a grand-daughter of Woodstock Fancy Free, who. gave C3olbs of butter-fat as a two-year-old. 6411bs as a three-year-old, and TTOlbs as a 4-year-old ; winning two gold and one silver medals. One hoifer, by Woodstock Fanfare, who was sold for fliOo at auction, out of Woodstock Fairy, who as a senior 2-year-old returned 49Gibs butter-fat. It is hoped to be able to publish further particulars of the entries for this important sale. It is understood that Mr Horn, of Levin, has had a bull entry accepted.
