NELSON TO PLAY AT FEIMHNG. There will be sonic very interestinghockey on tlie High School grounds on Friday next, when the Nelson men's team will play Foilding. The small sum of .1/ is to, be charged for admission, and the nett proceeds arc to be devoted to the fuiiuS of the Agricultural college. This worthy cause should receive the support, of all "Feildingitcs." THINGS THEY SAY, That Feilding promises to have a solid rep. team this year. Matches should be arranged early. That clubs *re hard hit by the change of holiday. That. Pakeha (men) have been lucky in matches bejng postponed through bad weather. At one stage only live players were available. That some players take too long to learn the "off-side" rule. That players should cut out "appealing" while a match is in progress, or examples should be made of some of them. That there is no. need to worry over postponed games —the season has nearly three months to run yet. Thai a crowd is coming from Palnieisl'on North to watch the NclsonFeilding in-itch o.n Friday.
