STANWAY NOTES.
(From our own Correspondent.) Saturday being a fine day, a fair number of local people took the opportunity to spend the day in Feilding, taking advantage of the late night. Miss V. Ashby has recently returned home from the hospital, while Mr. W Robinson is reported to be progressing favourably. .Mrs. G. Howe, together with her husband, have been spending- a few days with her parents. Mr. Charles Rosser and Mr. T. Davies are spending a fortnight in Wanganui with .Mr. .1. Lowe, of the "Chronicle." Mr. and Mrs. Parsons have gone on a short holiday to Bulls On Friday night another successful social and dance was held at the " The Totaras," as well as a euchre tournament. Mrs. Straw-bridge won the ladies prize, Master Ned Marshal the gentleman's. The booby prizes -were won by Mrs. Balfour and Mr. T. Miles.
