RUGBY BOUNDARIES.
TE EAAVAU AND HOROWHENUA OVERLAPPING. At the meeting of the M.R.F.U. last night, a letter was received from the To Kawan sub-Union, enclosing letter from the Horowhenua Union regarding boundaries. The Horowhenua Union's letter consisted of a copy of a resolution, as follows: "That the Tc Kawau sub-Union be notified that it has encroached on about nine miles of this Union's territory, as the boundary in that direction extends along the Taikorea line; to, the sea. All players in this area arc liable for suspension by this Union for playing for the To Kawau sub-Union. This Union will allow these players to continue for this season, so as not to upset the fixtures, but next season all players within the Horowhenua Union's boundary must play with their own Union/' Messrs Kagnn and A. Anderson, president and secretary of the Tc Kawau Union were present in connection with the complaint.— It was decided that the letters be referred to the Xew Zealand Union, with a recommendation that the Boundaries Commission's report bo adopted at once.
