OBITUARY.
REV. ALEXANDER DOLLL, M.A. The death of the Rev. Alexander Doull, M.A.', following a lengthy period of bad health, occurred yesterday morning at Dunedin, whither the de. ceased gentleman went three weeks ago to consult a specialist, though at the time of his death Mr Doull was in the public hospital. The reverend gentleman was born at Fetlar Shot, land Islands. Scotland, and was a son of the Rev. .Tames Doull. He came to New Zealand with his parents at the age of two years, his father taking up ministry at the Bulls Presbyterian Church. After receiving his early education in Palmerston North, the late Mr Doull proceeded to Turakina Boarding School, and thence to Otago University, where he obtained his M.A. degree. Edinburgh University claimed him for the completion of his theological training, and upon his return to the Dominion he was appoint, ed to the Rangiora parish, North Can. terbury, and after three years there, spent eight years of ministry at Papatoetoe, Auckland. St. Andrews, of Palmerston North t was his next and final charge, he'bin's forced in the middle of 1922 to resign through failing health. The news of his death will be received with the greatest regret by his many friends of all denominations. He leaves a widow and family—Enid and Muriel, of Palmerston North, James, of Auckland, and Mavis and Alex, at present in Dunedin.
