OROUA COUNTY ELECTIONS
(To the Editor.)
Sir,| —At the county election of the Oroua Otangaki riding, I was challenged re my vote. I claimed a vote, un. dcr protest, which I received, and voted. I understand several others did likewise. Can you or any one inform me who it is that decides the above votes. 1 would also like to know if the fault is through a mistake of a county official, and if so, why the ratepayers should bo disfranchised, I voted for Mr McDonald, and I would like to know if my vote has been counted in his number, —I am, etc., "WOMAN RATEPAYER.”
