The Prince of Wales was the principal guest at Lord and Lady Astor’s dinner party, when Labour members were present. 3lessrs Henderson and Hartshorn wore evening dress, 3lr Will Thorn was in a blue lounge suit, with a purple tie and canned a thick, nobby stick. A receptibn followed, the five Fundred guests including other Labour Commoners and their ladies.
