Detectives and police have been 'scouring London in an all-night search for two men suspected of the murder iof the taxi-driver. A woman’s picking out of a Yard album a photograph of a man resembling the one who asked to be allowed to go through her house led to the discovery of two men who are known to have been acquainted with Dickie. They often hired him for late night runs, and it is believed they were in his company on the night of the murder. Scotland Yard has also traced the owner of the gold-mounted walking stick found in the taxi-cab. The owner ip believed to be a dark man of Jewish appearance, aged about thirtyeight. Every London policeman has a description of the men wanted and is on the look-out. All the stations are also being watched. A woman gave a detailed description of a man and also pointed out his picture from a collection of well-known criminals shown to her by the police, or bearing a striking resemblance. She explains that he called at her home and asked to be allowed to go through into the street at the back. She obtained a good view of him under the light. He did not appear to be agitated. The theory that the men were burglars is strengthened by the discovery of an attempt made to enter a house near the spot before the murder, the jemmy /marks on the door corresponding with the jemmy found in the taxi-cab. The police are hopeful of making an early arrest. TWO SUSPECTS DETAINED, (Received Sunday, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 13. Two men were detained late last night in connection with the taxi-cab murder.
