MOTOR CRASH.
COLLISION AT CROSSROADS, A LUCKY ESCAPE. Early yesterday afternoon a motor collision occurred at the junction of Newbury and. Milson’a Lines, but although one of the parties was thrown out of his car, there were no seri. ou injuries sustained. The parties were, Mr J. Eliott, of Bulls, who was driving a New Hudson car, accompan. ied by his wife, and Mr E. R. Saunders, of Newbury Line, who was driving his fivo-seatod Belsize. The actual circum. stances of the collision are not but it is understood that neither party was travelling very fast at the time. Apparently the parties saw each other approaching, as there was a clearing some distance from the point of impact. On approaching the corner t tho sunlight got in Mr Saunders’ eyes but obviously neither of the driver* was aware that he was, so close j and a collision was unavoid, able. Mr Saunders was thrown clear of his machine into a ditch, and sus tained a severe shaking, which confln, ed him to his bed. Mr Eliott and hlj wife were uninjured. Both cars war® damaged more or less, but MIC Saunders’s machine apparently fared the worse
