ST. HELEN'S HOME,
FRIENDLY SOCIETY RESOLUTION At a meeting of the Orient Podge last night, the following resolution regarding the St. Helen's Home question was carried unanimouslj: "'['hat in Cue opinion of the. members of tiie Lodge, nothing but a St. Helen's Maternity Home will be in the bed interests of Palmerston North, and that it protests against, any attempt being Deep- to place it in the Hospital grounds. The Lodge requests the Minister in charge of hospitals to open a St. Helen's Hospital, however small, with 'he money available, as soon as possible l ." Tie.' resolution is to be forwarded to the Minister of Public Health.
