PROHIBITION.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Last Night. The Select Committee appointed by Parliament to review licensing legislation and to consider suggested amendments, met to-day, Mr F. F. Hockly, M.P., acting as chairman. The press was not admitted. The Committee decided to take the evidence of several witnesses, who were heard this afternoon. It is not anticipated that the deliberations will extend over more than a few days. The chairman stated that anybody desiring to give evidence should immediately notify him. MOVEMENT IN AUSTRALIA.
