ALICE LAKE IN "UNCHARTERED SEAS." Startling and beautiful, packed with thrills that succeed each other in a crescendo of interest, "Unchartered Seas," the special Metro feature, starring beautiful Alice Lake, made a wonderful impression on last night's patrons at the Opera House. The stark appealvof the frozen north and the deft acting of the great Metro star left this picture far above the average. The attempt of ,'<i young, ambitious wife, who had married for money, to regenerate her husband, is the powerful theme, and the production is lavish in the extreme. The story, which originally appeared in Munsey's Magazine, is of three characters "sent to Behring Straits to find an abandoned vessel holding' ten millions of Klondike gold, and thus test a man's character to discover whether his cowardice holds an alloy of courage. The wife, the sincere admirer and the husband furnish the triangle. The picture will be shown again to-morrow night.
