A sad feature of the recent motor cycle fatality on Boss road is that the parents of the deceased lost another son only three months ago. The Rev. The butter slump is becoming very keenly left in this district, where many dairy farmers are working high priced land bought during the land boom. One man stated that his cream cheque for last month was £27 on a-1/- per pound basis, whereas his cheque for the corresponding month last year was £O3 on a half-crown basis.
