A .simultaneous signal was pi von in ;ill the towns and seaports, and all communications were suspended. Troops, with artillery, have fully occupied Lisbon. There is furious cannonading: on the Tagus River, and heavy casualities, the hospitals being tilled with dead and dying. A GRAVE UPHEAVAL. (Received Tuesday, 8.55 p.m.) PARIS, December 20. News of the Portuguese revolution lias arrived from Spain. Communication with Lisbon has been impossible since Friday. The Portuguese Legation professes to ignore the report, but refugees, who are entering Spain at many frontier posts, make it clear that a grave upheaval is in progress. A despatch from Madrid states that when Senor Leal formed a Cabinet on Saturday ho and his Ministers were immediately challenged by an armed mob of soldiers and civilians. Simultaneously the naval and shore artillery opened a terrific fire. The position is such that even Spain is censoring all telegrams.
