The “Lyttelton Times” of Thursday heads off its commercial column, “The Continentq.l demand for wool is rapidly increasing.” There are many farmers in both islands who would be pleased of the assurance that the word “rapidly” had not been misplaced. If they have any doubts on the matter (says the Wanganui "Herald”), let them try their bankers, and see how they would figure it they asked for a substantial advance against their wool.
