The Manawatu Centre Bowling Association have instituted' a series of pennant matches through the ten clubs affiliated to Manawatu Centre. The winners of same to receive a banner. Those on the north and east of Palmerston North with one Palmerston Club, Section A and those on the south and west with (2) Palmerston North clubs Section B. Method of scoring; Two points for a win with both rinks or one point for a- draw. Section A: Fellding, Woodvllle, Dannevirke, Pahiatua, Manawatu. Section B: Shannon, Levin, Foxton, Palmerston North, Terrace End. Each Club will play every other Club in its section. One game to be played each fortnight to find section winner. Games are to be played on either Wednesdays or Saturdays by mutual consent, to enable Clubs to get members together on weekly half holiday or otherwise. Clubs will be responsible for arranging with their opponents the particular date on which the match is to be played. Within the time'set by the Centre secretaries to forward the result and scores immediately for press and record purposes. DRAWING. First Round: Section A, to be completed by 3rd December: Fellding v. Dannevlrke, at Woodville; Woodville v. Pahiatua, at Pahiatua; Manawatu, bye. Second Round, 17th December: Manawatu v. Dannevlrke, at Dannevirke; Pahiatua v. Fellding, at Fending; Woodville, bye. Third Round, between 7th and 21st January: Woodville v. Dannevlrke, at Woodville; Feilding v. Manawatu, at Manawatu Green; Pahiatua, bye. Fourth Round, between* 4th and 18th February; Pahiatua v. Manawatu, at Pahiatua: Woodville v. Feilding, at Feilding; Dannevlrke, bye. Fifth Round, 18th February to 4th March: Dannevlrke v. Pahiatua, at Dannevirke; Manawatu v. Woodville, at Woodville; Feilding, bye. This will give the following analysis: Feilding 2 games at home, 1 at Woodville, 1 Manawatu: Dannevlrke, 2 games at home, 2 at Woodville; Woodville, 2 games at home, 1 at Pahiatua, 1 at Feilding; Pahiatua, 1 game at home, 1 at Dannevlrke, 1 Pahiatua, 1 Woodville. SECTION B. Same dates as Section A; first round: Shannon v. Foxton, at Shannon; Levin v. Palmerston North, at Levin; Terrace End, a bye. Second Round: Shannon v. Terrace End, at Terrace End; Levin v. Foxton. at Foxton: Levin, bye. Third Round: Shannon v. Terrace End, at Terrace End; Levin v. Foxton, at Foxton; Palmerston North, bye. Fourth Round: Shannon v. Levin, at Levin; Palmerston North v. Terrace End, at Palmerston North; Foxton, bye. Fifth Round: Palmerston North v. Foxton, at Palmerston North; Levin v. Terrace End, at Terrace End; Shannon, a bye. This will give the following analysis: Shannon 2 games at home, 1 at Levin, 1 at Terraco End; Foxton 2 games at home, 1 Shannon, 1 Palmerston North; Levin 2 games at home, 1 at TJoxton, 1 Terrace End; Palmers, ton 2 games at home, 1 at Levin, 1 Shannon; Terrace End 2 game at home, 1 Foxton, 1 Palmerston North. There will be a gala day at Woodville and Terrace End to-day, when clubs throughout Centre will visit above. Mr N. H. Nash has challenged the holders (Terrace End) for the Dixon Cup. 'i'he match will commence at 2 p.m. The sectional winners and ties in pennant matches will be played on March 10th.
