SPRING, SHOW AT FEILDING. The FeUding Horticultural Society held Its spring show in the Drill Hall yesterday. The exhibition was a credit to the society and the district and there is no gainsaying the fact that Feildlng leads the way In the growing of flowers. The entries were numerous and the display was one of rare beauty. It would be extremely difficult to find elsewhere specimens of roses to surpass those on view yesterday. In all sections competition was decidedly keen, and the judges’ tasks were, indeed, difficult. A strong feature of the show was the decorative class. It was easily the best seen in this district for some considerable time. The quality of the entries in the home industries division was of a particularly high standard. The vegetable section was well filled, the entries being also of excellent quality. At both the afternoon and evening sessions the public attended in large numbers, and the various stalls conducted in conjunction with the show did brisk business-. The society deserves the warmest congratulation on this, the best exhibition in its annals.
