Mr Stevens, Crown Solicitor for the West Riding of Cork, has been kidnapped. Three men seized him in a Skibbercen hotel, and motored him to an unknown destination. NEGOTIATIONS FOR SETTLEMENT (Received Friday, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October C. It is understood that Mr Lloyd George, Lord Birkenhead, Sir L. Worthington Evans, Sir Hamer Greenwood! and Mr Winston Churchill will negotiate for the Irish settlement.
