ADDINGTON MARKET.

There was a large attendance of buyers of store sheep, there were over 20,000 penned mostly lambs. Prices were about level with last week. Forward lambs 20/6 to 25/-, fairly forward lambs 18/6 to 20/-, medium lambs 17/- to 18/3, inferior and small lambs 13/- to 16/6, ewe lambs 7/6 to 12/6, good four and six tooth wethers 22/- to 26/-, lower conditioned 4 and 6-tooth wethers 19/3 to 21/1, two tooth wethers 16/- to 19/6, two tooth ewes 22/6 to 23/6, aged ewes 12/6 to 1.7/. Fat Lambs.—There was a slight falling off in the number yarded, the prices showing a slight firming tendency. Freezing works buyers obtained a good proportion of the entry. Extra prime lambs 34/6 to 35/1, prime lambs 30/3 to 33/6, medium lambs 27/- to 30/3, lighter lambs 23/- to 26/6. Fat Sheep.—Six races came forward compared with seven last week. The quality was average. Fat Cattle. —A yarding.of 260 good to prime quality which sold at prices slightly firmer than last week. Extra prime steers £24/10/0 to £26/15/0, prime steers £2l to £l4/10/0, prime cows £l2/15/0 to £l4/15/0, medium* cows £lO to £l2/10/0, light and unfinished cows £6/10/0 to £9/15/0, prime heifers £l3, ordinary heifers £9 to £l2/7/6.
