The yearling heifers, which are a paiticularly line lot, are by Whstmeie Woodcrest Pontiac and Ashlea Butter Boy, whose dam, Daphne, has recoided 463.36 Ilis fat in 302 days. Undoubtedly there will be considerable interest displayed at the ring side when Westmere Woodcrest Pontiac stands before the puublic, and he will be given first place amongst the 12 bulls catalogued, and intending purchasers will be well advised to bear this fact in mind. As Mr Liggins has disposed of his Karere property the instructions to the auctioneers, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., are to sell absolutely without reserve and buyers aie particularly requested to note the hour of starting, which is to be 11 o’clock a.m. sharp.
