Bro. West, of the Southern Cross Lodge, Wellington, paid a visit to the Orient Lodge last night, and gave a detailed account of the workings of the new medical scheme which they have in operation in Wellington. Father O’Donnell, the Australian chaplain, who was arrested in Ireland on a charge of sedition, and acquitted, is returning to Australia in July. The Army Council has paid him £BS 0, the expenses in connection with his recent arrest and court-martial. Our ladies’ footwear department fully realise and are thoroughly conversant with the needs and desires of the ladies of this territory in footwear matters. The department announce new arrivals from London, and evening shoes are concerned.
