Mr Bowemau has announced his intention oi: laying Mr Brownlie's letter before the Trade Union Congress. He will ask the leaden s to give a real lead to the necessity for increased production. Mr Barnes, in a speech at Walworth, said that lopsided organisations, governed only by materialistic and sectional considerations, were likely to result in rival organisations getting a strangle-hold on the community, in which everyone, including the members of the organisation, would suffer. Mr Barnes added: “ Rancour and ill-will could not cure the present-day evils."
