PATIENT ESCAPES.
(Per Press Association.) NAPIER, Last night. A hospital patient named Ahern, who was suffering from an incurable complaint, is missing from the institution. He escaped from the hospital on Sunday last, and jumped into the sea near the breakwater. He was pulled out by a passer-by, and after being sent home, ho was returned to the hospital, from which he has again escaped.
