TURMOIL IN BERLIN.
TELEPHONE CUT OFF. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, June 6. Telephone communication with Berlin has been broken off’. It is believed that there is a recrudescence of rioting there. It is reported that a general strike for 24 iiours has boon <2eclared in Berlin, as a protest against Levicn’s execution. RIOTS FOLLOW EXECUTION. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] f (RecciA'od Monday, 1.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 29. Berlin reports that the German Government is prepared for all eventualities. Following Levicn’s execution riots have broken out in many toAvns. Spartacista failed in an attempt to storm the Hamburg toAvu hall.
