SONNINO DEPARTS.
ITALY WELL REJECT WILSON’S PEACE. [Aust, and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 12.45 a.m.) PARIS, April 26. Mr Lloyd George denies that he acquiesced or approved of President Wilson’s statement. Signor Sonnino has departed for Italy to participate in the discussion in Parliament. Official reports from Italy show that there is intense indignation against President Wilson. Newspapers declare that not one man in Italy is disposed to accept the peace which President Wilson would impose.
